facility for tsunami related resources, we also offer reproduction services for both
personal and commercial use. Please read these instructions on how to place and
order with the Pacific Tsunami Museum Archives.

Ordering Reproductions
|
|
The Archives reproduces materials for commercial, personal, or research purposes. Except for items that are restricted by donation or copyright, most of our resources may be reproduced. We have many photographs, videos, maps, books and papers to choose from. We have a selection of photographs available on this website under Tsunami Photographs. If you would like to see additional photos, video footage, or items from our library, you must come in in person. Public access to the Archives is welcome by appointment only. Call 808-935-0926 or email the Archivist at to request an appointment.

Note: The format of historical photographs may not conform to standard paper size. Therefore, the images may not fill the full paper or may require cropping. For digital images, the highest available resolution is 300dpi.

Research Fees
|
|
The Archivist is available for assistance, however, we do charge for research. The first half hour is free, then research done by Museum Staff is $15/half hour.
|
Photocopies of materials must be approved by Museum Staff and are $0.50 per page.
|
Standard processing time is two weeks. For Rush Orders, allow one to three days for processing, and Rush Orders are subject to approval. There is an additional charge of 40% of the total amount for rush jobs. Shipping and handling charges are not included in reproduction costs.

Commercial Use Fees
|
|
For reproductions that will be used commercially, i.e. for publication or broadcast, additional usage fees apply and written permission must be obtained. If you are interested in ordering material for commercial use, click here to see a breakdown of our publication or broadcast fees, notes on
